UK supermarket Sainsbury's has admitted mislabelling farmed Scottish salmon. The admission comes after the Salmon and Trout (STA)
made a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority and Trading

of salmon.
The fish were labelled as being from “fast-flowing
sea-water locations off the isles of Skye, Lewis and Uist”, but were in
fact from Loch Fyne, on the Scottish mainland.
