Aquatic Eco-Systems, Inc. announced today that it has acquired Vaki Aquaculture
Systems Ltd., a leading aquaculture equipment manufacturer based in Kópavogur,
Iceland.
The addition of Vaki is expected to strengthen Pentair Aquatic Eco-Systems’ business by broadening its range of systems, products and services in the growing aquaculture market space.
Vaki is focused on the design and manufacture of fish handling, counting and grading solutions for a variety of aquaculture applications.
Vaki also develops and offers cutting-edge technology for biomass estimation in aquaculture systems; providing users with accurate information to maximise operational efficiencies, facilitate resource planning and optimise decision-making.
Vaki products have widespread global adoption, with utilisation in more than 50 countries.
