18/05/2018: Save the date for the 9th International Sturgeon Conference, Poland

Sturgeon farmers, caviar producers, scientists and organizational representatives from all over the World will gather in Warsaw during the 9th International Sturgeon Conference.

This event provides a unique opportunity to meet people and discuss important topics from the sturgeon sector and is a forum for knowledge sharing and networking.
 

The International Sturgeon Conference is organised every second year by Aller Aqua, The Stanisław Sakowicz Inland Fisheries Institute in Olsztyn and the World Sturgeon Conservation Society (WSCS).

The conference will be located Komitetu Obrony Robotników 24, 02-148 Warszawa, Poland.

Sturgeon Conference Program
Attendees are advised to arrive at the conference reception latest at 9:30am to register and take a cup of delicious morning coffee or tea. Lectures start at 10:00am and finish before 6:00pm. An evening dinner begins at 7.00pm at the hotels’ Aviator Bar & Lounge.

• Current global sturgeon and caviar production.
• Ultrasound screening with live demonstration.
• Caviar marketing and commercialisation of innovative fish products.
• Substitution for borax.
• Sturgeon feeding to improve health, growth and caviar quality.
• Outcome of the 8th International Symposium on Sturgeons that took place in Vienna last year and the exciting Sturgeon Pilgrimage along the Silk Road.
