In just three years AquaFarm has become a key event of reference for Italian, European and Mediterranean basin aquaculture. In the 2020 edition is set to take place 19-20th February at Pordenone Fiere, Italy. During which the results of research projects funded by Horizon 2020, Erasmus +, InterReg and FEAMP will be highlighted.
Technological innovation inspired by applied sectoral research must and will have to lead more and more towards environmental, economic and social sustainability of aquaculture.
AquaFarm has always devoted considerable space for research activities: this year a whole session will be focused on it. Coordinators and partners of different projects will present the results directly applicable in farming or aimed at optimising the supply chain processes. Many of the Italian universities, research institutes, associations and companies -- also present as exhibitors at the event -- are active partners of research consortia funded under the Horizon 2020, Erasmus +, InterReg or national programmes.
More information on AquaFarm and NovelFarm, on how to participate as an exhibitor and on the evolution of the agenda and thematic events programmed at the Fair, is available on the event websites: www.aquafarmexpo.it and www.novelfarmexpo.it.
