Friend of the Sea sustainability certification is awarded to Weishardt, the first fish collagen producer to receive the award

Friend of the Sea, the preeminent certification standard for products and services that respect and protect the marine environment, has announced the certification of Weishardt for sustainable fish collagen peptides. The company can thus display the Friend of the Sea ecolabel, most notably on the brand's renowned product, Naticol®.

Weishardt is one of the world's leading producers of high-quality fish gelatine, fish collagen peptides. Founded in France in 1839, the company is also very famous for being the first to produce edible gelatin in 1957.
