The AquaFuture Spain fair will be held again from March 28 to 30, 2023 due to the success of its first edition

Santiago de Compostela, October 13, 2022.- The International Exhibition of the Aquaculture Industry, AquaFuture Spain, organised by OK Events, will hold its second call from March 28 to 30, 2023 at the Feira International de Galicia ABANCA venue.

Although the contest will be biennial from then on, it will take place next year with a double objective. The first objective is to consolidate the event after the success achieved last March and thus convert this international meeting for the aquaculture sector into an international benchmark. The second objective is to meet the demand of both the aquaculture sector in general and the companies that could not participate in its first call, last March, because the available space was exhausted.

Among the objectives for this new edition, the organisation proposes that the event have in its exhibition area practically all of the most important companies in the sector, as well as a greater institutional presence and associations from both different Communities and other countries. Likewise, networking spaces will be created to also enable previously scheduled commercial work.

In addition, the event will once again have an interesting program of activities that will include technical conferences, presentations and a show cooking space.

As of today, the companies participating in the first edition are already renewing their registration for this new edition and from Monday, October 17, registrations for new companies will open.

Great results on your first date

The first call for AquaFuture Spain, which took place from March 23 to 25 this year, obtained excellent results at all levels.

As for its exhibition, the event had to be extended up to four times to accommodate 143 companies and entities from 23 countries in its exhibition area.

87% of these companies confirmed that they will participate in the next edition, while more than 30 companies that attended as visitors showed the organization their interest in being exhibitors at this next event.

Likewise, the public supported the fair during its three days of celebration, reaching 2,400 visitors, a high figure considering that it is a totally professional public from a very specific sector and that it was the first call for the fair.
