The importance of AE2017
As reported in the description of the fast approaching event, "One of the factors that may contribute to the lack of positive growth in the aquaculture sector, is the lack of cooperation between operators in the sector. This may be regarding production (breeding programmes, feed resources, benchmarking technical performance etc.,), promotion and market intelligence or training and knowledge management, including open access publications."
The brochure goes on to offer an insightful solution, "Turning policy into growth can be achieved through diminishing competitive forces through common actions using regional cooperation, task forces, public/private partnerships and other initiatives that help reduce conflicts."
As partners of the event we will be attending this very exciting event in force! We hope to see you all there.
