22/09/2017: Introduction to Marine Flex environmentally mooring system

Marine Flex Ltd and N-Viro Ltd, will be displaying at the NZ Aquaculture Conference next week in Nelson.

The link here is to a 60 second video they produced very recently as an introduction to their latest innovation.

Key features:

  • These can be configured from simple strand units for small vessels/moorings to very complex multi strand units as per the attached photo for large vessels/marine farms/marinas/jetties etc.
  • When you view the video you will see the upright nature of the marine flex in the water column - this attribute leads to a major space saving in high density mooring areas.
  • Also you will see a great shot of the marine flex attached to a screw system anchor - this highlights the absolute non-contact with the ocean flood hence the tag 'Environmentally friendly Mooring System'.
  • The other key shot is the chain coming out of the sediment - highlighting the degradation of the sea floor when using chain for anchoring/mooring systems.
