Aquaculture Europe 2021 to be held in person later this year

The President of the Regional Government of Madeira has recently announced that events can now take place on the island with 50 percent seating capacity, which is good news to the EAS Board of Directors. Having also filed a formal request to the Madeiran Health Authority, Aquaculture Europe strongly believe that whatever the final format and capacity, the event can go ahead in Funchal.

The abstract submission for oral-requested presentations deadline has also been extended to May 15, to give more people time to submit their pieces. The new deadline is, however, a strict one and abstracts submitted later than this date will have significantly less chance of being accepted for oral presentation and will be assigned as Eposters in sessions that have reached their capacity. The deadline for submitting abstracts for Eposter presentation remains as August 28.

Booths are still available for the AE2021 Exhibition, which runs October 4-7.
