The Online Aquafeed Production School 2021 begins May 4th

The Online Aquafeed Production School 2021 12-week programme begins Tuesday May 4th, running through to the end of July this year.

The course is broken down into 12 two hour sessions, starting at 2pm Bangkok Time (GMT+7).

Agenda

• Review of ingredients in general for aquafeed production
• Review of protein sources and new possibilities for aquafeed industry including results of use
• Q&A

The first session will discuss raw materials and the effect of their use with regards to processing methods. It will also discuss the limitations with regard to ingredients and processes, as well as how the formulation needs to match the equipment being used to make a successful aquafeed.

The course is offered to help with understanding the design, development, and operation of an aquafeed production plant for the range of products typically used in the aquaculture industry. Ingredients, a general nutritional review, equipment used, and why, are also discussed during the course.

The sessions will also be re-broadcast on Fridays at 10:00 Chicago Time to reach the industry in North, Central, and South America.
