“Training specialists in aquaculture will make fishermen’s work of catching fish easier, as well as creating tanks to increase production,” Nsuka Kupessa Ndongala, head of the fishing sector department told Angolan news agency Angop.

The International Business Times recently compiled a list of "13 of the coolest species discovered in 2013." Amongst these, a walking-bamboo shark.
Dr. Gerald Allen - a biologist at Conservation International - along with a team of scientists discovered the new species known as Hemiscyllium halmahera.

Atlantic salmon is by nature, an ocean dweller.
However, the Namgis closed containment facility on Vancouver Island, Canada is the first salmon farm in North America to grow Atlantic salmon on a commercial scale in a completely land-based aquaculture system.
