AquaFuture Spain will open its doors March 23rd

The international aquaculture fair AquaFuture Spain'22, which will take place from March 23 to 25 this year at the Galician International Fair ABANCA, will have a wide commercial exhibition in which 152 companies from 23 countries are confirmed, in addition to official bodies and public institutions representing and supporting the aquaculture sector.

The exhibition, which will occupy the 11,000 square meters of Pavilion 1 of the venue, will be completed with an extensive program of technical conferences, which will take place in different spaces.

Thus, in the Carmen Sarasquete Conference Room, six round tables will be held with several national and international speakers and a moderator each, and with the participation of the attending public. This will be in person and telematically, as the conferences will be broadcast openly by streaming.

Each round table will address a topic of general and current interest for the aquaculture sector. On Wednesday the 23rd at 3:00pm "Internationalisation and financing and investment tools in Aquaculture" will be addressed and at 5:00pm 'Clusterisation as an instrument for the competitive and sustainable development of aquaculture.' On Thursday the 24th, the titles will be "On the way to Aquaculture 4.0" at 10am, "Optimising the care of aquaculture species: functional and sustainable nutrition as a guarantee of health and well-being" at 12pm, "Perspectives in the production of the mollusk' at 3:00pm and 'New trends and innovations for safe and sustainable aquaculture production' at 5:00pm.

Presentations Sala Abanca and Sala Xacobeo
The numerous requests from exhibitors to make presentations and talks that allow them to show their new products, innovations and technology, has led the organisation to set up two rooms in which a total of 24 talks will be held, including "Optimising semen quality of fish'; 'We present the 'Inoca', a semi-automatic vaccination machine'; 'Customised nutrition for larvae of different fish species'; 'Advances in the production of bivalve seed: Ecopemer Project'; 'Water quality as a key factor in biosafety in aquaculture'; 'Production, Nutrition and Health in the cultivation of Seriola dumerili'; 'ELOXIRAS®: electrochemical technology for the treatment and reuse of marine and saline water in RAS' and 'Optimised lighting solutions for sustainable aquaculture '.

Show Cookings and tastings for the public
This ambitious program available to all visitors is completed with a demonstration space and tasting of dishes made with aquaculture products, thus showing their application in traditional and modern cuisine. Different chefs will prepare dishes with products such as the Mexillón de Galicia, Clams from the OPP-89 Parquistas de Carril, Algae or Trout, which will delight the public.

High expectations
The organisation of AquaFuture Spain is receiving numerous requests for accreditation and invitations to visit the Show, which not only come from professionals throughout the national territory but also from abroad, in addition to those sent by institutions, educational centres and research centres. All this means that the expectations of visitors are very high in order to achieve the great objective of bringing together the entire aquaculture sector around AquaFuture Spain.
