Joseph P Kearns will be speaking at the One Day Short Course in Aqua Feed in Abu Dhabi.
Mr Kearns is currently the Aquaculture Process Engineering Manager for Wenger Manufacturing, Inc. He received his bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in Food Technology Engineering.
Mr Kearns has been employed at Wenger since 1974 and has held responsibilities from drafting to global sales. In his current position he continues efforts to advance aquaculture technology with existing and newly developed aquatic breeds.
He has 8 patents for Wenger, all with regards to aquatic feeds and/or machinery associated with the production of such feeds. He has had more than 40 articles published in trade magazines on aquatic feed production. He has presented at numerous events around the world on the topic of aquatic feed production.
Mr Kearns will give three presentations:
• Preconditioning Technology for the Aqua feed
• Single and Twin screw Extruders and their application in Aqua Feed
• Differences in making Fresh Water and Marine Feeds
The
One Day Short Course in Aqua Feed takes place on Sunday February 14,
2016 from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM GST at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition
