VIV Qingdao 2020 to feature online trade matchmaking

VIV Qingdao is the sole successor of the previous VIV China event, which had run since the year 2000 by VIV in China. VNU Exhibitions Asia and the VIV team in Shanghai, with the full support of VNU Europe, are connecting show attendees with professionals in the pork, poultry, egg, aquatic and dairy production industries.

For this special edition, VIV Qingdao 2020 will add to the event an online dimension that is dedicated to facilitate ongoing and new business needs in this period of travel restrictions and smart working solutions.

VIV Qingdao 2020 will take place 17-19th September as scheduled, in order to overcome the current barriers that international exhibitors and visitors are facing in doing business with the Chinese market, the organisers have designed an online match making system to provide digital connection providing the opportunity to arrange online appointments by selecting profiles and meeting from remote.

In addition, professional buyers will have the opportunity to win extra benefits while participating in the match-making online program:
- Amazon gift cards of $100 USD will be delivered to profiles who complete at least five verified match-making online meetings during the exhibition period
- In September, the organisers will select 30 top buyers among the users of the match-making tool to award the hosted buyer benefits for VIV Qingdao 2021, including free accommodation in a luxury hotel, free lunch buffet and onsite transportation.

Moreover, in order to facilitate continued learning and to deliver the latest insights most of the content and seminars presented at the show will take place during the show days, at the same time, as online workshops and webinars.

VIV Qingdao 2020 is committed to integrate global exhibitors and visitors and to bring together the animal husbandry professionals to connect, learn and trade both face-to-face and online.
