Construction of 385m aquaculture farm back underway in China following COVID-19 delays

NSK Ship Design and Nardlaks have been collaborating to produce 385 metre long salmon farming structure in Yantai, China.  The offshore farm referred to as 'Oceanfarm 1' launched recently following delays caused by the extended Chinese spring festival break, as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The completed vessel will host six 47m² with the capacity to hold 10,000 tonnes of salmon.
