Håvard Pihlstrøm appointed as head of service and aftermarket at Blue Ocean Technology AS

Specialising with sludge treatment in aquaculture, Blue Ocean Technology AS continue to grow strongly with increasing numbers of projects on land and at sea at home and abroad – and are bringing in new key personnel.

Håvard Pihlstrøm has been appointed head of service and aftermarket, and has today taken up the position.

Mr Pihlstrøm will be responsible for building up the company's service network as well as managing service and maintenance services in Norway and internationally, including the start-up and testing of new installations - as well as servicing and maintenance of Blue Ocean facilities. He will also be a key figure in the cooperation with technology partner Schneider Electric regarding system development, architecture for monitoring and control (EcoStruxure), preventive maintenance based on machine learning - and customer environmental reporting modules.

He came from a position as subsea project engineer at ClampOn, with previous experience from SeaSmart and CCB, among others.

Mr Pihlstrøm is a mechanical engineer and holds a bachelor's degree in subsea technology with specialisation in instrumentation and 3D modelling.
