Animal feed plays an important role in the food supply chain and in the safety and quality of food products. Feed safety and quality is therefore very important to the agriculture, aquaculture, feed and food sectors.

With demands and expectations on feed supply and livestock production ever increasing, the sourcing and use of feed materials of appropriate safety and quality will become more challenging. It is important therefore to understand the issues in relation to the production of feeds and their use in livestock production.

What will the seminar involve?
The safety and quality of livestock feed seminar will cover a range of aspects including:
- nutrition
- product quality
- human health and aquaculture
- how services on offer to the industry can help address problems

International Aquafeed's Roger Gilbert will chair the opening of the seminar.
