The first day is coming to a close here at AquaNor 2015.
Editorial team member Peter Parker has spent the day learning of new technologies including ‘Photofish’ from AKVA group, a transportable box which provides a fast online analysis of fat and colour in salmonids using photo-analysis technology.
Following this he attended a series of seminars organised by Fish Vet group, Salmobreed, Stofnfiskur and Benchmark Holdings on various genetics topics and other technical practices.
Darren Paris and Tom Blacker from our UK head office attended a news conference which included Ewos CEO Mr Einar Wathne, as well as Mr Joe Stone, Corporate Vice President and Ms Sarena Lin, President Cargill Feed and Nutrition. They also managing to spend time with the Co-CEO/President Mr Marc Wenger of valued customer Wenger.
