Martha’s Vineyard ponds to host winter flounder.

Martha’s Vineyard/Dukes County fishermen’s association are working with the University of New Hampshire to save the Winter Flounder, which was once so abundant in Martha’s Vineyard waters. The project which starts on November 1st will be in two phases, first part of the project will be to study the two ponds the Lagoon and Menemsha and the second part will be to raise and release tagged winter flounder into the two ponds.
