The QVD Food Co Ltd has received the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certificate, making it the first Vietnamese tra fish breeding and processing company to win the distinction. In order to receive this certification, the enterprise must meet standards for environmental and food safety and criteria in origin and social responsibilities.
Earlier QVD earned certificates from the United States Department of Commerce, International Food Standards (IFS) and the UK BRC retailer. Recently, QVD launched a new logo and changed its trade name to QVD Aquaculture in a bid to popularise its products.
Established in 1999, QVD Aquaculture owns farms, processing factories and cold storage facilities, along with offices in Vietnam, Singapore and the United States. The US-based office helps the company to bring its best quality aquatic products to global customers. Read more ...
