The Governments of Norway and Brazil have given the initial go-ahead for the launch of an Action Plan for the development of fisheries and aquaculture activities between the two countries. The head of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA), Ideli Salvatti, and the Ambassador of Norway in Brazil, Tured Euzébio, met on April 1, in Manaus, where they agreed on the first collaborative activities in these areas.
The Norwegian Ambassador stressed the importance of Brazil for investments in his country, particularly in the field of sustainable development of fisheries and aquaculture.
