Isle of Man bye-law excludes part of the Scottish scallop fleet

The Scottish fisheries secretary Richard Lochhead, said that the Isle of Man bye-law is unnecessary and unwarranted. He went onto say that this ruling excludes many of the Scottish scallop vessels from the Isle of Man waters and that those who have been excluded are being deprived of their historic fishing rights.
