Government authorities in Mexico and Chile have signed the Agreement on Cooperation in Fisheries and Aquaculture, in order to strengthen activities in the technical, scientific, economic and commercial development of fisheries and aquaculture in both countries.
Those who participated in the signing of the agreement included the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (Sagarpa), Francisco Mayorga CastaƱeda, the national commissioner of Aquaculture and Fisheries of Mexico, Ramon Corral Avila, and the Minister of Economy, Promotion and Tourism of Chile, Juan Andres Fontaine Talavera.
