The GAA announces Goal 2011: Session On Chile Salmon Disaster

The Global Aquaculture Alliance has announced that the disease outbreak that devastated Chile salmon industry will he discussed in a special meeting at the November GOAL 2011 conference, "Double in a Decade - Responsibly", in Santiago, Chile.

The experience of the Chilean industry represents a valuable case study. The survey will be part of a project promoted by the World Bank to prevent or mitigate similar disease crises in aquaculture around the world. Its results will be reported at GOAL 2011. Read more ...
