United States accused of violating trade rules

The on-going dispute between Vietnam and the US over the trade rules violations is set to continue. The World Trade Organisation (WTO), released a statement referring to the current issues between Vietnam and the US. The statement determined that the US has acted inconsistently with article 2.4 of the anti dumping agreement.

Vietnam has challenged certain aspects of the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) final determination in the US anti-dumping proceedings. Vietnam has challenged in particular the "continued use" by the USDOC, of certain practices, as well as their application in the second and third administrative reviews. Read more ...
