Multinational feed additives producer Nutriad officially opened its new facility in Hampshire, Illinois, USA. The 50,000+ square foot facility includes offices, laboratory, warehouse and 3000 Mt production capacity.
During a festive ceremony with customers, distributors, suppliers, engineers, local authorities and employees Nutriad CEO Erik Visser stated: “The grand opening of our state of the art facility underscores our commitment to the North American market. It enables us to grow our business while becoming fully compliant with all industry regulations. Together with our distribution partners we are well positioned to take further leadership in the specialty additive industry.”
The new plant is fitted with the latest vapour and dust mitigation equipment to provide employee safety and comfort. It will also allow for full traceability and compliance with bio-security measures, FSMA safety plans and numerous new federal regulations.
According to Keith Klanderman, President Nutriad Inc.; “This is a proud day for Nutriad, Inc. Our Hampshire operation honours our successes from the past, recognises our current commitment to our customers and partners and highlights the vibrant future that we envision moving forward.”
As the new facility houses all activities under one roof, it will enable Nutriad to more effectively coordinate its production activities and supply chain across six Nutriad warehouses that are strategically located across the USA, Canada and Mexico.
