The reports of infectious Salmon Anaemia (ISA) in British Columbia, have yet to be verified by the federal officials through the established processes. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Fisheries and Oceans Canada are working to assess the results using scientifically sound and Internationally recognised procedures. These procedures include additional testing to verify the presence or absence of the ISA virus in these samples.
