In Brazil members of the State Environment Council (Coema) have evaluated and approved a new resolution establishing environmental standards and criteria for granting permits for aquaculture in the state of Tocantins. "Now, many of our producers, mainly the small ones, will be able to get away from illegality and work in an integrated manner, in partnership with cold storage's," said the head of that Undersecretariat, Miyuki Hyashida.
