Kelly Cove Salmon applies for Shelburne-area farms by spring

A subsidiary of Cooke aquaculture, has applied to the federal government seeking approval to build two large salmon farms in the Jordan bay area. Cooke Aquaculture wants to have farmed salmon swimming in Shelburne County by the spring. “We’re dealing with biological timelines,” Cooke spokeswoman Nell Halse".
