Canada - The salmon farmers of British Columbia, have dismissed the advertising campaign of the anti fish farming organisations the Global Alliance Against Industrial Aquaculture as irrelevant and immature.
Mary Ellen Walling the excutive director of the BC Salmon Farmers Association told Canada.com that they will not be responding to this latest campaign even thou the adverts were upsetting, she also said that they considered the adverts as immature, inappropriate and irrelevant and will not be taking them seriouly.
She pointed out that the BC salmon farmers association has a website — bcsalmonfacts.ca — on which there is good and intelligent dialogue on the subject of salmon farming. Read more...
