The future of the aquaculture feed industry in India is looking promising, but India needs to increase the species it is producing according to P.E Vijay Anand the techinacal director of India’s Animal Feed Program, American Soyabean Association.
Anand was addressing a technical session on the ‘Status of the Indian aquaculture feed Industry and future trends’ on the second day of Aqua Aquaria 2011, he said the India relied on two species, carp and pungasius, where as China and Bangladesh which breeds about 15 species.
