An application for a new fish farm causes controversy over site "replacement"

Mainstream Canada has been accused of not being transparent over its new fishfarm plans, to site a salmon farm on the east side of Meares Island. The Living Ocean Society (LOS) said the aquaculture company has been far from transparent about what constitutes a replacement because of the type and size difference between its present farm and the new one planned.
