The Norwegian government is funding the Norwegian Institute of Food, Fisheries and Aquaculture Research's bioprocessing plant. The bioprocessing plant is the first of it kind in Norway with a total area of 1000 square meters. The funding from the government of NOK3.5 million (€462,654) “I hope that this funding that has now been granted for operational costs will enable this facility to contribute to the establishment of more companies due to research,” says the Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs, Lisbeth Berg-Hansen.
