https://www.was.org/meetings/Default.aspx?Code=WA2015
World Aquaculture 15 is getting closer: May 27-30th – Jeju Island, Korea.

The theme this year is ‘Aquaculture for Healthy People, Planet and Profit’ and is very relevant for an area which has a strong aquaculture industry, a population which has a high seafood consumption and is home to a natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Plenary speakers for the event have been chosen specifically to cover the theme in their presentations.

Registration day is May 26. This is also the date of the newly-organised WA15 Aquaforum. To encourage participation, the AquaForum committee offers free attendance for the first 700 registrations.

The WA15 AquaForum has been created to benefit industry professionals during the WA15 conference and exhibition. The organising committee invites Asian farmers, suppliers, and other industry professionals to Jeju, Korea to attend this forum. Activities will include specific topical industry sessions, facilitated workshops, round table discussions, simultaneous translations, designated meeting spaces, farm tours, etc.

It is a true Industry forum whereby timely topical and regionally relevant sessions are tailored to enhance industrial representation and participation.

Session topics will include health, nutrition, and production systems of fish and shrimp in freshwater and marine environment. Sessions will have flexibility for specific subtopics of interest to attendees.
