On Friday morning a fish farmer in Huizhou,
Guangdong Province woke to find thousands of his fish floating belly-up, The Mail Online reports.
He and his staff rushed to clear the lake
of the bodies - piling them in stinking heaps on the shore – and to add
sackloads of salt to the water to re-establish the chemical balance and save
any fish that may remain.
As it is, he says he has lost over
UK£110,000 in sales, and will probably need a decade to make up the losses.
